In addition to NGB the NGB Cleaning Social Enterprise is getting underway. The ambition is to create something that provides a genuine end-to-end solution to people needing a job on release from prison with the offer of further training and support.
The Cleaning social enterprise
People are being trained in and out of prison for roles in what is now a career path in cleaning and maintenance with excellent progression opportunities using the cleaning skills training centres in prisons at the start of the journey, and in the community upon release. Training is in the latest methods with advanced equipment and opportunities for jobs within the NGB cleaning company and beyond with a number of cleaning employers we have been approached by.
Supported by the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners this will be operational soon.
